Associate Vice President of Financial Operations

Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Associate Vice President of Financial Operations for our prominent Hospital System in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this key leadership role, you will provide strategic guidance and oversee the daily operations of general accounting and financial planning, including financial and statistical reporting functions, in strict adherence to established policies, accounting procedures, regulations, and reporting requirements. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and upholding our organization’s compliance and ethics program, policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide strategic leadership for financial operations and general accounting activities across the hospital system.

*Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability.

*Manage financial and statistical reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies and cost-effective financial practices.

*Support and promote adherence to the organization’s compliance and ethics program, policies, and Code of Conduct.

*Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and financial practices, implementing necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

*CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or relevant professional certification is highly desirable.

*Proven leadership experience in financial operations within a healthcare setting.

*In-depth knowledge of healthcare finance, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
